With four hours to go in the Emerging Scholars Book Fund Campaign, we reached our goal. The gifts that were made by UMass Amherst Faculty and Staff have been matched by the UMass Amherst Foundation Board of Trustees, which means we have surpassed our goal.

We are thrilled to tell our first-year cohort about our community's generosity tonight at the welcome dinner. Thank you for being a part of it.

Within Striking Distance of Our Goal!

August 26, 2019

Thanks to some generous donors who gave this weekend, we are within striking distance of our goal! ES alumni, now is the time to encourage your classmates to step up for our first-year Emerging Scholars!  Please share the giving page on social media and by good, old-fashioned email:

Thank you!

A Strong First Week for Emerging Scholars

August 02, 2019

Thank you for your gift this week to the Emerging Scholars Book Fund! We are off to a very strong start in our first week of the campaign, thanks to your generosity.

Our campaign ends on the same day as the welcome dinner for this year's cohort of Emerging Scholars students, and we look forward to telling the students at dinner how many donors have supported them this year. Please share the campaign with others and encourage them to give.

Have a wonderful weekend!
