Since 2000, the International Scholars Program (ISP) has helped hundreds of CHC students integrate international studies coursework and study abroad into their undergraduate studies. This community of scholars invested in viewing their fields of study through an international lens has led many ISP alumni to successful careers in international business, development, education, law and more. Others have pursued additional international study through nationally-competitive scholarships and fellowships such as the Fulbright program.
Professor Timothy Lang, the Director of ISP is retiring from UMass Amherst. In honor of his commitment to international education and community-building, we ask program alumni and friends to contribute to an award in his name. The Lang Global Scholars Award will support an ISP student who is a member of Commonwealth Honors College with financial need who will be studying abroad during the 2018 academic year.
A group of alumni and friends will match the first $300 we raise during the campaign!
