Support UMass Men’s and Women’s Swimming

Dear UMass Swimming and Diving Family,

We appreciate you taking some time to visit this page and learn about opportunities to support the program. We are continuing to find ways to improve the overall experience for our student-athletes. The top project for us this year is to raise money for the purchase and installation of a large, industrial fan for the pool. The overall cost of the fan, plus the installation, is $20,000. The high-volume, low-speed fan will significantly increase the air-flow in the pool area. The addition of this air-flow will improve the conditions during training and competition for the student-athletes.  

In addition to the fan, we are also looking to replace some of the timing technology in the pool. The goal would be to purchase five large touch pads at $900 each and three small touch pads at $800 each. We thank those who have historically made annual gifts to support the men’s and women’s programs. Those contributions are vital to the success, and we would ask you to consider this initiative above and beyond that annual support.
