Isenberg has achieved remarkable success over the past decade, rising in national rankings and attracting world-class students and faculty members. For supporters who want to help us maintain this momentum, we have identified five priority areas essential to advancing the school’s reputation and propelling Isenberg even higher among the top tier of public business school programs.
Five Key Areas Where Your Support Matters
ATTRACT EXCEPTIONAL STUDENTS - Increasing accessibility and affordability is a top priority in building a diverse and talented student body at Isenberg. To bring in the students who will help us move forward, we are funding merit- and need-based scholarships for undergraduates and fellowships for promising graduate students who assist faculty and help break new ground in business research.
SUSTAIN FACULTY EXCELLENCE - The foundation of any great business school is its faculty, and we consider our faculty members Isenberg’s greatest asset. A titled position is the most meaningful honor we can bestow on them, allowing us to retain and recruit the best teachers and scholars and support their research and teaching activities. We also provide travel funds for faculty and doctoral students to attend research conferences, thus expanding connections and the impact of their work.
ENABLE CAREER SUCCESS - To successfully launch our students as business professionals, we make certain they develop all the skills and competencies they’ll need to impress recruiters. Our new Office of Career Success serves undergraduate and graduate students who study on campus and online as well as alumni making career transitions. Born of a strategic partnership between the Business and Professional Communications faculty and our career experts at the Chase Career Center, the Office of Career Success offers resume guidance, interview prep, social media profile tips, and more. We work with recruiters and alumni to organize educational workshops, networking events, and career fairs. The need for these services is greater than it’s ever been, and we’re committed to offering increased access, innovative skill development approaches, and stipends for student mentors.
CREATE GLOBAL CITIZENS AND INCLUSIVE LEADERS - For graduates to succeed and ultimately lead in our increasingly diverse and global business world, they must have a broad range of intercultural experiences. International opportunities and immersive experiences are critical for our students to gain the perspectives and expertise they need to be leaders. Like the companies that hire our graduates, we are committed to advancing an inclusive community at Isenberg, creating a better learning environment and workplace. We offer programs that promote cultural awareness, ensuring that all Isenberg students understand that diversity and inclusion will ignite 21st-century solutions
INSPIRE INNOVATION IN TEACHING AND LEARNING - Both the content of our educational offerings and the modes through which we deliver them must always be innovative to ensure that our graduates can succeed in the rapidly changing business world. Because of this, we must upskill our faculty and staff and keep our technology infrastructure current. We aim to strengthen our programs, leverage our expertise in online education, expand the impact of our exceptional faculty, and deploy modern approaches to teaching. We are in the process of creating a ‘technology sandbox’ for students and faculty to try out emerging technologies, support developmental programming for faculty and staff around new technologies, recognize innovative teaching, and provide support for the testing of new pedagogy.
