Pond Club: Supporting UMass Hockey

Dear UMass Hockey Supporter:

My staff and I are excited to start our second season at UMass. We still have a tremendous amount of work to do, however I am confident we are making progress towards our goal of creating a program that commands respect throughout college hockey. This past year, due to many of our generous supporters, we have been able to enhance our facilities, and recently started construction on a dedicated hockey strength & conditioning facility that is scheduled to be completed in September. However, in order to compete in Hockey East on a consistent basis, the program needs your annual support for continued upgrades to improve the student athlete experience.

As many of you know, the Pond Club serves as the fund raising arm for UMass Hockey with 100% of the proceeds used for enhancements to our team. These funds allow us to run a first-class program and keep pace with our peers in Hockey East. It is my pleasure to share the 2017-18 Pond Club benefit chart below.

I am happy to announce that The Commonwealth Club was a huge success last year! For those who do not know, the club is located behind the North end of the ice, is accessible one hour before faceoff and stays open throughout the game. Features include complimentary snacks and private access to a cash bar with soft drinks, beer and wine. This area provides a convenient and fun premium experience for our Pond Club members.

As the staff continues our outreach in the local area, we look forward to meeting you and working together to advance the UMass Hockey program using a community-based approach. Thanks for your support of our program as we pursue our goal of excellence.
