Hello Everyone!

The UMass Debate Society is an organization of undergraduate students who participate in debate competitions throughout the Northeast. We travel to schools to participate in tournaments against some of the most elite schools in the country while developing the public speaking skills of our members. Our primary objective is to expose college students to collegiate debate and allow them to develop as public speakers. 

Over the last several years we have sought to expand our engagement to encompass a greater portion of the nation's east coast colleges. But we need your help. We hope to participate in a tournament at Princeton later this spring and need funds to help make that happen. Participating in this tournament will allow our team to forge relationships with schools from the Mid-Atlantic portion of the debate community and help us lay the groundwork to send teams to our debate league's national tournament in the coming years. Funds raised in this campaign will be used to send our teams to Princeton with any additional funds contributing directly to other tournaments we will attend this spring. Any donations offered are greatly appreciated. Thank you for helping us develop as a team and pave the way for both our current and future members.
