Thanks to everyone who supported us in raising funds to build the wheelchair accessible ramp for our local family! This opportunity would not have been possible without your help!

Who Are We?
Our club is the American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS). We are an organization dedicated to giving architecture students the resources and skills they need for the profession.
Our AIAS chapter at UMass recently started Freedom by Design, a hands-on community service program of AIAS that strives to solve local community problems with design solutions.
What is Our Project?
We are partnered with the local organization, Stavros Center for Independent Living, to build an accessibility ramp for local families to access their homes safely. Stavros has built many accessibility ramps in the past. With their experience and our eager students, we ensure that even more of these ramps are assembled!
As part of our Freedom by Design program, our members will be aiding in the construction of the ramp, allowing us valuable hands-on, real-life experience while supporting a great cause.
What Will Donations Go Toward?
We aim to raise enough to cover the materials and contractor cost for one wheelchair-accessible ramp. Any donations are greatly appreciated and are sure to make a lasting impact!
You are amazing! Finally, all of your hard work has paid off!
