College of Natural Sciences Undergraduate Student Success Emergency Fund

The CNS Undergraduate Student Success Emergency Fund is a donor funded resource for students who have demonstrated high need and who are facing an emergency situation where they need financial assistance to support their education or access to their education. Students can apply for up to $500.00 a year.

In our first pilot semester we have disbursed funds to support the purchase of:

  • Textbooks
  • Access codes for online course components
  • Emergency car repair
  • Technology repair
  • Emergency food assistance

In addition, students are connected with resources available to all students across the university.

Your contribution will specifically help students in CNS who are struggling with some of the basic needs of being a student.

Access to course materials increases chances of success in the classroom, that increases rates of successful course completion, increases rates of graduation, and increases the attainment of dreams!

Help a CNS student today! The first $1,000 we raise will be matched by a generous donor!
