Massachusetts Men's Basketball

It was with great excitement that we announced Frank Martin as the new head coach of the UMass Men’s Basketball Program on March 25, 2022. 

We have recently launched a Massachusetts Basketball Excellence Campaign to support Coach Martin as he aims to take our program to new heights. Our men’s basketball fundraising success has generated a reserve of just over $700,000 to date, which wholly supports student-athlete experience initiatives and programmatic improvements. This has come through a combination of gifts to the Court Club and multiple-year investments to our Basketball Excellence Fund.

As Coach Martin takes the reins, our goal is to move that total to $1,000,000. We have set a target of April 30, 2022 to meet our exciting goal! 

The University has provided a renewed commitment and increased investment in order to generate a successful men’s basketball program.  We are encouraging our supporters to invest now with great strength to show Coach Martin our collective support and move this program back to national prominence.
