To School of Public Policy Minute Fund Donors:
With your help, we were able to raise $5,010 in pledges and contributions by December 23, 2016, meeting more than 100% of our goal for the Keel Challenge Minute Fund Campaign for SPP Summer Internships!
Minute Fund donations from SPP alumni and friends will be doubled by alumna Kristen Keel, and donations made by UMass faculty and staff through early November 2016 will be tripled due to Keel’s match and the match from the UMass Faculty and Staff Campaign!
So that $5,010 in direct donations to the Minute Fund? With the various matches, it’s more like $17,000—which will make a HUGE difference in support for future SPP summer interns. SPP interns have used, and will continue to use, their life-changing summer experiences to build the skills needed to make a positive impact on our world. Your donations couldn’t be more useful or timely.
Thanks to all of our Keel Challenge Minute Fund donors and to alumna Kristen Keel, who made the challenge possible. And best wishes for a happy and healthy 2017!

Dear Keel Challenge Minute Fund Donors,
As we look ahead to next week’s Thanksgiving holiday, we want to thank everyone for their generous support of SPP summer internships! Because of that support, we’ve been able to increase our fundraising goal TWICE—and are now aiming to raise $5,000 before our Minute Fund campaign ends on December 23 (almost there with $4,405 as of 11/18/16).
In tumultuous times, it helps to know that we’re surrounded by caring friends and colleagues who value inclusion and recognize the power of community to produce positive change. Members of the UMass School of Public Policy are grateful to be part of such a caring community, and to share a desire to support students who want to make a difference in our world. From our home here in Gordon Hall, to wherever you call home this giving season, have a happy Thanksgiving.
