UMass Amherst NSBE Minute Fund

In light of the recent anti-Black racist incidents happening at UMass Amherst targeting African Americans and Black students, the NSBE Chapter at UMass is working to not let these recent events dictate the experience of Black Students on campus. 

In view of this, we are thankful for those who have shown their solidarity to the students at Umass Amherst NSBE. As many have asked concerning the several ways to support, we are accepting donations to help aid in getting resources and scholarships for our NSBE family.

The NSBE Annual Convention is one of the events the scholarship will go towards. Every year, some of our members have the opportunity to attend this NSBE Annual Convention, where they get to network with professionals from major companies and 20,000 other NSBE members from all over the country. Students also get to attend workshops and a career fair where full-time jobs and summer internship opportunities will be offered. Attending this convention helps us achieve our mission statement of helping black engineering students to succeed professionally. Thus, we want to raise $5000 to take as many members as we can to attend the National conference in Anaheim, California.
