BDIC Bright Idea Scholarship

BDIC students are creative and motivated, two characteristics that make them ideal entrepreneurs. We’re asking BDIC alumni and friends to support a scholarship to help student entrepreneurs make their bright ideas a reality.

The Bright Idea Scholarship will provide funding to BDIC students interested in starting their own business. The seed funding provided by the scholarship will help student awardees develop a proof of concept, market research, and product development.

BDIC already has a great track record in supporting two successful student business ideas:

• Juke Snowboarding, founded by Tim Reilly ‘13, produces high-quality snowboards in central Massachusetts. "Spending the grant funds on materials allowed me to produce the most snowboards and led me to the first generation of profit for Juke Snowboarding."

• Feat Socks, founded by Parker Burr ‘15, Taylor Offer ‘15 and Elijah Grundel ‘15  are selling their socks at retailers across the United States and Australia.
