Student Care Supply Closet

Make an immediate difference for UMass students facing economic uncertainty. This fall, 147 undergraduate and graduate students were supported by the Supply Closet.

Student Care Supply Closet

Everyone deserves uninhibited access to personal care supplies. The Student Care Supply Closet provides free toiletries and household items to students who are facing economic insecurity and/or an unexpected financial emergency. Students are able to access items such as shampoo/conditioner, soap, paper products, cleaning products, baby wipes and diapers, and feminine hygiene products. Any student who is in need is eligible to use this resource—no questions asked.

Even when financial aid covers tuition expenses, students are often left to cover the cost of other necessities. The Student Care Supply Closet allows students to access supplies they need to be able to allocate funds for other critical costs such as food and housing, medical and basic health needs, and childcare. Giving to the Student Care Supply Closet allows the Dean of Students Office to purchase the needed items for students to take care of their day-to-day needs.

Please consider helping UMass students today.
