For those of us who participated in the International Scholars Program, taking part in study abroad was one of the most influential experiences of our undergraduate years. The opportunity to broaden our perspective, live and study in another country, make lasting friendships, and immerse ourselves in a different culture led us to grow personally, academically, and professionally. What if our lives had not been touched by the chance to study outside the United States?
Lack of resources presents a barrier to students who wish to have this valuable learning experience. The Lang Global Scholars Award was established to provide access to students in financial need. The award, which recognizes former Commonwealth Honors College International Scholars Program (ISP) director, Timothy Lang, was established by caring alumni and friends. Since then, it has become a tradition to raise funds annually for the award to assist another generation of ISP students.
Please join us in ensuring that students in need continue to receive the vital experience of study abroad by making a gift to the Lang Global Scholars Award today. Your generosity will make a difference in the life of another International Scholar!
