The global pandemic has forced us to change the way we deliver our cutting-edge education, with all classes remote for the fall semester. In the face of uncertainty, one thing hasn’t changed: the mission of our department.

We will continue to strive for excellence in our teaching and research. We will remain committed to creating a diverse, inclusive, and equitable learning environment for the future leaders of the sports industry. We will continue in our mission to provide life-changing experiences for our students. We will continue to connect our students with our unrivaled alumni network and provide them with front row access to projects with industry partners.

And most importantly, we will support our students unconditionally.

#MissionMcCormack seeks to rally the UMass Sport Management family and provide meaningful support to these core pillars of our Department’s promise to our students. 

Our goal is to raise $25,000 from 250 members of our community. We know that many of you may be experiencing your own challenges wrought by the pandemic, but we ask – if you can – that you consider supporting #MissionMcCormack by participating in this week’s giving campaign.
