Support Massachusetts Baseball!

This point in our year is usually one of anticipation and excitement as we return to campus ready for another academic and athletic campaign.  As you know, these last five months have been anything but usual for our coaches and student-athletes. Even in the face of uncertainty and adversity, they have shown tremendous resiliency in finding innovative ways to continue developing their team dynamics, sport specific training and, most importantly, their commitment to academic success.

We now stand at the onset of an academic year facing a 10-15% reduction (approximately $5M) to our athletic department budget. This will be felt by all our sport programs. As a result, we need to identify ways to handle our operations differently, all the while maintaining our commitment to educate, win, inspire, and invest.  In an effort to bridge our resource gap, we launched #FlagshipForward, a fundraising and engagement campaign aimed at sustaining excellence in uncertain times.

Our coaches and student-athletes need your financial support now, more than ever, and we have set a fundraising goal to achieve over the next five days (August 3 – August 7).  There has never been a more important time to show your commitment; please consider a gift to Massachusetts Baseball today. All donations will have an immediate impact, and play a key role in their success both academically and athletically.

Your donations will go toward funding:

  • Replacement batting cage netting

  • Turf to complete batting cage renovation

  • New Dugout Seating

  • Rapsodo Pitching Monitor 2.0 - This is a device that measures and quantifies things that cannot be seen with the naked eye to help in the development of our pitching staff.  Some of the data collected includes: Velocity, Spin Rate, Spin Direction, Release Height, Release Angle, Spin Efficiency, Strike Zone, Pitch Break, 3D Pitch Trajectory, and more!!

Thank you for your support of our Baseball program! We look forward to seeing you soon.
