Hello Everyone!

April 27th is UMass Amherst's Founder's Day and also the start of the fourth annual UMassGives on April 27th-28th. While we celebrate our school, #UMassGives is a fundraising campaign when alumni, parents, students, and friends make a gifts to support UMass anytime between noon April 27th and April 28th at midnight. 

During UMassGives, there are power hours in which the group that receives support from the MOST NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS during the power hours will receive an additional $2,000 in matching funds from the UMass Amherst Foundation Board.

On April 28th from 3pm-4pm EST, we want to get the most number of participants donating so we have a chance to receive an extra $2,000! During this hour, we ask you to donate any amount, as little as $1-$5 is greatly appreciated. And you are welcome to donate more of course. The goal is to get the greatest number of people to donate towards our cause from 3pm-4pm on April 28th, so please share with your family and friends to take a few minutes to spare a few dollars so that we can continue to do our work in Africa.
