Fine Arts Center- Global Arts Program

Do you remember the first time you entered a concert hall to see a live performance? Think back on the joy you felt then, and each time since. It’s undeniable—the arts bring us joy. They entertain, uplift and educate us.

Why not share that joy with a child? With every $10 you donate to the Fine Arts Center’s Global Arts Program, you send a student to a show.

But, the Fine Art Center’s Global Arts Program daytime performances are more than just a show. They provide educators with teaching platforms tied to their classroom curricula. Study guides provided in advance help teachers explore concepts in math, science,and more with students prior to attending performances. The performances combined with study guides provide a basis for enhanced learning through an arts lens—building knowledge of cultures, sciences, and the arts.

For over 25 years, K-12 students have attended these daytime performances by national and international artists. For some, it has been their first time in a concert hall. Students love the experience. Here are some comments we’ve received:
