Hello,
We are the UMass Equestrian team. We ride hunt seat equitation based out of the UMass Hadley farm with our coach Dani Corkill. We have been gaining ground here in the region with multiple wins this past semester as well as earning a place in the ribbons at both Tournament of Champions this year so far!
Recently, the team traveled to Spring Tournament of Champions held at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Georgia. We earned a 3rd place overall, only coming in behind the two SCAD teams. In order to continue to attend and represent UMass at a national level, we are in need of financial assistance to attend the next tournament specifically for travel expenses (flights, hotels, rental van etc.).
Any extra money earned will go towards caring for our 13 team horses, routine medical expenses, purchasing new horses (as we now have grown to a team of 43 members), purchasing new tack that properly fits horses and riders among many other expenses.

7th place ribbon, will cover part of the expenses to send 1 rider to tournament or buy a new saddle pad!
6th place ribbon, will cover part of the expenses to send 1 rider to tournament or help feed a pony!
5th place ribbon, will cover part of the expenses to send 1 rider to tournament or new halters for our horses!
4th place ribbon, will cover part of the expenses to send 1 rider to tournament or new jump boots for our horses!
3rd place ribbon, will cover most expenses to send 1 rider to tournament or new girths for our horses!
2nd Place Ribbon, cover most expenses for 1 rider to go to tournament or new bridles for our horses!
1st place ribbon, will help send 1 person to tournament or help buy a new saddle!
