It is Giving Tuesday, and if you are still looking for a worthy cause to donate some money to, you have come to the right place. Also, if you have friends, family members, neighbors, work colleagues, etc. who are still searching for a cause that their money is well spent on, please let them know about our fundraising efforts.

We have just received word that 3 of our iSTEP students have been placed in internships in Germany for summer 2020.

One Biochemistry and one Biology student will intern at the Karlsruhe Institut of Technology, and a Mechanical Engineering student will pursue an internship at Siemens in Berlin. We are all very excited for them.

Your donations make these once-in-a-lifetime experiences possible. So thank you to everyone who has already donated. I have seen many colleagues of mine, parents, students, and former students contributing to our fundraiser. Thank you so much to you all for making a difference in students' lives. These students have an amazing transformative experience working in Germany, and they are committed to giving back and strengthening the German-American friendship ties. Therefore, your gift keeps on giving.

We started our iSTEP minute fund project one week ago, and already we have reached 26% of our funding goal of $2,000! Thank you so very much for this very strong start to our fundraiser! You are awesome!!! Many students would not be able to apply for an internship in Germany without your generous donations. Thank you to everyone who has already contributed, and who has gone out of their way to talk to people about iSTEP and our fundraiser. 

We still have three more weeks to go, so please continue to give, and help us in spreading the word, and letting people know about this important aspect of a student's university experience. With your support, students in the iSTEP program will get the opportunity to have a meaningful professional experience in Germany, and make important company contacts for their careers after they graduate.
