Thank you to all our supporters for helping us accomplish our goal of raising $2,400. These funds will go directly to supporting BRiDGE speakers in the College of Natural Sciences, and we couldn’t have done it without you!
Now we have one more goal; we’ve gotten support from over 50 individuals and we want to engage another 200 in in order to document the collective interest in sustaining BRiDGE.
BRiDGE has always been student-centered. If you share our vision of bringing scholars from a wide range of perspectives to UMass Amherst's campus to provide mentorship, cutting-edge research, and inspirational Broader Impacts, please contribute $1. Your $1 contribution helps secure permanent funding so that BRiDGE continues to serve students for years to come.
We have successfully raised over $2,400 thanks to the support of our generous donors! By reaching this milestone, we can host BRiDGE Scholars in two new departments at UMass Amherst. These funds will cover the expenses related to the Scholar’s travel to and from campus, the community events where Scholars present their work, and the mentoring luncheon with students.
With your continued support, we hope to surpass our current milestone and obtain our reach goal of $3,000, so that we may fund more BRiDGE activities and continue expanding across campus at UMass Amherst.
Departments that have hosted/will host BRiDGE scholars:
Environmental Conservation
Geosciences
Stockbridge Agricultural Plant & Soil Sciences
Psychological & Brain Sciences
Environmental Microbiology
Landscape Architecture & Regional Planning
Molecular & Cellular Biology
Neuroscience & Behavior
Plant Biology
Organismic & Evolutionary Biology
Help us add more to this list!
Thank you so much to our donors for continuing to contribute to our project! Our donors have been giving so generously that it has taken less than 10 days for us to reach our 60% progress mark, raising over $1,200!! Thank you for your continued support!
Show your support for BRiDGE programming by giving us a thumbs up and helping us meet our goal of getting 250 individuals to contribute
