We are officially one quarter through our fundraising campaign for the Jack Frackleton '81! We're thrilled to see the support you've given us so far, but we're still a ways off from our goal. Over the next month and a half, you can expect to see us spreading the word on our Facebook and Instagram and you can play a part in our efforts by passing along our message as well. This is an exciting fundraiser that we do not get to conduct often, so we love to see our friends and alumni share in the excitement with us!
As it is the Aggie way, we want to highlight some of our history to you all. Mr. Frackleton himself was kind enough to provide some photos for display on this page, and we've included them below for your viewing pleasure! In the top picture, you can find Jack sitting stroke of the far-side boat. The lower picture is a newspaper clipping from the Collegian showcasing the UMass 8+ after their win at Division Two Nationals.
Stay tuned to this page and our social media for fundraising updates, and don't forget we need your help to accomplish our goal! Be sure to share posts with your former classmates and boatmates so we can reach $17,500 by September 30th.
Thank you so much!

We've started off strong in the first 500! Now it's time to settle in to our base pace! Please be sure to call on your former boat mates so they can help push us through to the finish line. Here the technique and smooth rhythm kicks in. Luckily, a Hudson SP works with a crew to maximize speed and efficiency. Hudsons are used in World and Olympic level competitions for their stiff shells carbon fiber and efficient hull design.
Pictured below is our current SP 8+, the Spirit of '66, which has earned us 3 Patriot Cup victories, a guaranteed entry in the Club 8+ for HOCR, and NERC and ACRA grand final finishes. Currently our 2nd Varsity rows in the Steven A Loomer, a sturdy Carbon Vespoli M2. While the hull is in great shape and has earned many great results as well, having 2 Hudsons for our top crews will increase competition in our top boats. Our 1st Novice or 3rd Varsity crew will inherit the Loomer, which will be a massive step up from the venerable Clark.
Thanks for your support,

For the next 60 days, we will be accepting donations through this page to benefit our program in purchasing a Hudson Super Predator 8+ rowing shell. We will be posting updates along the way to document each milestone, starting with this one! We would like to thank all of our incredible alumni, family, and friends in your support for our program. We truly wouldn't be where we are today without you all.
Be sure to check back over the next 60 days to catch up on updates and our milestone progress as we reach for our $17,500 goal. Thank you again for all your support!

It's anyone's race. If you're going to take this one, you're going to need to start making moves! Donate to this tier or any of the ones below to start taking seats.
You've pushed 'em back a seat, but now's not the time to sit still. Keep moving up that boat!
You've got your coxswain past their stern pair! That's the pace-setters down, now for bow six.
You've pushed them back to the engine room. They don't always row pretty but they sure can move a boat!
You've got your coxswain on their five seat! It's a small lead, back that blade in and get some bend in that oar.
You've got half a length on the other crew! Time to sit up and get looong.
Three seat, this is where things get fun! You're on your way, hunker down and fight for it.
You've got their two seat! You've worked hard to get this far, and that gold medal will be worth it in the end.
You've pushed them back to their last man, but it's not over yet. Why stop there?
BOW BALL! The call coxswains love giving and rowers dream about. You've dominated the competition and now it's on to open water. Well done!
