Improvements to the Women’s Tennis Locker Room are on-going. A complete overhaul is currently taking place in order to expand the area and create a more welcoming environment for all members of the team. Some renovations have already occurred, with branding adorning the locker room, whilst the expansion is planned over the Thanksgiving break.
With a larger locker room, comes more available space to utilize, and the team has elected to transform it into a living space containing couches, a coffee table, a television and a snack station. The goals is to add a more personal touch that will leave its mark on the room and be appreciated for years to come. This will enhance the atmosphere in the locker room and overall experience for the team.
We are hoping to continue to increase the branding inside of our locker room, allowing the space to represent our pride in being a part of this incredible program. We plan for a vibrant room, covered in images of UMass Tennis to welcome and inspire all past, present and future members of the team. Once a member of this team, always a member of this team, which is the message displayed in every area.
You have several ways to support this project. With the gift of $1,000 or more you can name or dedicate one of the 11 lockers in the space. With that gift, a plaque will be prominently displayed in one of the lockers that will be used on a daily basis by a current student-athlete. Gifts of a $1,000 or more can be pledged over a two-year period.
Current and former players can unite to name a locker together as a celebration of their bond and/or success on the courts (minimum gift is $250/maximum four names on a locker). Additionally, we will recognize all gifts of $200 or more on a plaque that will be installed in the locker room to forever commemorate your support for UMass Tennis.
By sponsoring this project, you are not only leaving your legacy but also providing access, amenities and resources for our student-athletes that will be among the finest in the Atlantic 10 Conference. A contribution to the branding project will not only honor your time at UMass, or the time of a loved one, but will also have an immediate impact on our current student-athletes.

In recognition of your gift to demonstrate your pride in the program, your name will be placed on a plaque that will be prominently displayed in the renovated locker room to forever commemorate your support for UMass Tennis.
An option for four former alumni OR four supporters of the program to share the dedication of a locker. Lockers can also be named to recognize championship teams, families, or in honor of a teammate. All names will be included on the name plate. Once you make your donation please email lalove@admin.umass.edu with the names of the other alumni or supporters you would like to share with.
