Thank you so much for donating to the Intercollegiate Surf Competition! With your donation, we are able to help fund the essential resources needed for the event. Without your support, this competition could not be held.
The Lake Atlantic Surf Competition is a friendly competition meant to bring together surfers from all over the region. As far as we know, this is the first time a surf competition for college students will be held in New England, and we are excited at its potential. We hope that by providing the surfers of New England with a chance to compete against one another in friendly competition, we will further solidify our community. Though the competition itself is of course only open to surfers, we welcome and encourage all who are interested in admiring our sport to come and enjoy the event. We are planning on hosting this event at Good Harbor Beach in Gloucester, Massachusetts on either March 30th, April 6th, April 13th. Because this event is dependent on weather and surf condition, we have arranged three potential dates. If for any reason this event does not happen this year, all funds will be used for the event to occur next year.
*The money raised through the MinuteFund will specifically go towards funding the EMS detail, compensation for judges, lifeguards and an MC.
