Hello everyone,

We returned from our trip about a month ago and we're still trying to absorb everything that we did during our 8 day adventure.  The trip was an extraordinary success thanks to the hard work of our student participants, our trip leader Christina Monte and tour guide DJ du Preez.  We worked hard on our lesson plans and were pleased to learn from the teachers and rangers that we worked with that the information we taught will not only impact their lives, but the lives of their communities, in which they now have the skills to emerge as leaders and create lasting change in South Africa.  We were able to not only teach but to visit a high school where our laptops will be servicing as well as interact with the beautiful wildlife that the Timbavati Foundation is working to protect (we even got the rare opportunity to walk and interact with the Timbavati White Lions!)  I wanted to take a moment to thank you again for your generosity and support for this program.  The value of service is something that is revered in Isenberg students and this program is really special in the sense that it allows us to amplify our impact globally.  Here is a video made by Stephanie Berenson recapping our experience.

Our page has officially closed, and we have raised a total of $1,676!! Although we did not reach our goal we were able to shave almost $200 off the travel expenses of the student volunteers which is definitely something to be proud of.  We are all beginning finals week and finishing up the semester and getting ready for our departure in only 24 days when we will leave for Johannesburg!! I want to thank everyone one last time before the trip for all of your support, especially to our donors whom have helped us to establish this amazing program within the Isenberg School of Management.  This program will connect students with needy organizations in South Africa for years to come and will strengthen the relationship that Isenberg has with the Timbavati Foundation! Happy Holidays and I will be in touch after the trip is complete to reflect on its successes!  

Attention supporters of the ICF South Africa Service Mission!  The planning for this trip is going very well and we are finalizing our lesson plans for the seminars that we will be executing at the Timbavati Foundation.  We will begin our journey in 27 days and there will be 3 days before this crowdfunding page will come to a close.  Thank you to everyone who has donated already and it is very much appreciated if you continue to share this link with anyone who may still be interested in donating.  We are also still accepting used laptop donations as well that we will taker with us to expand the computer lab at the Timbavati Foundation.  Tonight we will be having a benefit dinner for the trip in the Berkshire Dining Commons and everyone is getting very excited.  Thank you again for all of your support!
