Emerging Scholars Program Book Fund

The Emerging Scholars Program brings together faculty, staff, and students to support and mentor first-year students from their first day on campus through graduation. With a 98% graduation rate, our alumni are continuing to excel as graduate students and in careers as researchers, attorneys, educators, engineers, and more.

We are asking Emerging Scholars Program alumni and friends to give to the Emerging Scholars Book Fund. Every dollar we receive will purchase books for the 2018 cohort of Emerging Scholars.

Textbooks are among the largest out-of-pocket expenses for college students. For students who are the first in their family to attend college, the high cost of textbooks can be an unexpected extra expense. Since Commonwealth Honors College has managed the Emerging Scholars Program they have covered the cost of textbooks for the first-year ES students. A gift from you will help Commonwealth Honors College continue to provide this essential resource for our Emerging Scholars. It also sends a powerful message of support to the students in the program.

You can open a world of ideas to Emerging Scholars with your gift today.  Thank you!
