Women’s Lacrosse Locker Room & Scoreboard Project!

In the spring of 2018, the women’s lacrosse program is raising funds to renovate the women’s lacrosse locker room in Boyden and help with the purchase of a new state-of-the art scoreboard for Garber Field. Improvements to the locker room will greatly enhance the student-athlete experience and aid in recruiting top talent to Amherst. The new scoreboard will enhance the game-day experience for the fans and student-athletes.

A contribution to these two projects will not only honor your time at UMass, but also have an immediate impact on our current student-athletes. Alumni of the program, as well as current student-athletes, will have the opportunity to commemorate their time at UMass.

For anyone who makes a donation of $1,000 or more they will be able to dedicate a locker in the upgraded facility and add to their already established legacy on the program.  In recognition of that gift, a plaque will be prominently displayed in one of the lockers that will be used on a daily basis by current UMass student-athletes. Lockers can also be named in honor of championship teams, families, and alumni who have passed. Current and former players can come together to name a locker room together as a celebration of their bond and/or success on the field (minimum gift is $250/maximum four names on a locker). You will also have the opportunity to establish recurring monthly payments to help you meet our giving goals.
